We wet strip without using acidic stripper which is not only damaging to the environment but also damaging to aircraft due its corrosive nature.
We are experts in the art of dry stripping, not to be confused with simple sand blasting, we use a range of different media. Media, nozzle shape, pressure and flow rate are all important factors to be considered when dry stripping. We are pioneers in the use and design of blast nozzles and correct selection of media for the job.
Our hanger at Dunkeswell Aerodrome contains a full paint respray facility with a fully enclosed heated booth, designed not just to make your aircraft look good, but also to fully service the airframe and remove any possible hidden corrosion or damage. From small cosmetic paint repairs and blow overs through to full bare metal re-sprays, we take pride and care in everything.

We can both wet and dry strip, dry stripping is ideal for bonded aircraft as the bonding cannot be effected. When wet stripping we use the latest non acidic, non corrosive, biodegradable aircraft stripper. We are able to repair plastics and composites and can even paint strip these composite materials, this gives a better longer lasting finish plus a slight weight advantage.
